Gemma and Kieran

We were delighted to spend a gorgeous sunny mid June day with Gemma and Keiran on their wedding day at Beamish Hall.  We both started the day photographing their preparations alone side the brilliant husband and wife team – videographers Janet and Chris from One Digital Image (always a real pleasure to work with and firm friends of ours.)

Gemma looked amazing in her Ronald Joyce blush pink gown.

Gemma and Keiran enjoyed a romantic ceremony in the Shafto Hall lit by candle light.

The cake looked and smelt stunning, made by The Cake Garden in Morpeth.

We stepped outside for a few minutes for some pictures of the newly weds, enjoying the gorgeous sunny day.

Bridal Gathering – 1st November 2009

We are thrilled to announce that we shall be exhibiting at the fantastic wedding show – ‘Bridal Gathering’ organized by Belle Bridal Magazine at the Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton Le Spring this Sunday.  It is a must see show for everyone planing a wedding with the show featuring 100 exhibitors for everything you could possible need for your big day including many of the top north east names in the wedding industry.  Whats more, you shall each receive a complimentary goody bag filled with hair and beauty products, have the opportunity to receive a free manicure, there will be a free champagne lounge area, a fantastic fashion show shall be put on to inspire, entertainment from Britains got talent finalists – the “Irresistible 3″, and the chance to win over £5000 worth of raffle prizes with proceeds from the show going to the Brothers in Arms Charity.  Entry is only £2, and parking is free.  The show will begin at 12 noon and shall continue through to 5pm.

Beverley and David

For Beverley and David’s big day we were back at Beamish Hall, a regular venue of ours.    It is always a joy to come here, a fabulous venue with fantastic grounds, lots of photo opportunities and great staff.  I started the day with Beverley in the bridal suite, and Nige with the boys who were enjoying a quick pre ceremony drink in the Stables.  They chose to marry in the Shafto Hall, moving on to the Monbucher Hall for their wedding breakfast and evening do.   Congratulations to you both.

Kerry and David – Hardwick Hall

Nigel and I were thrilled to spend the day with Kerry and David on their special day.  A sunny day at Hardwick Hall near Sedgefield provided  the backdrop for their wedding.  Kerry chose a pretty lilac and purple theme for their day time celebrations, with her bouquet containing lilac frecias, ivory roses and eucalyptus.  The evening do  – Las Vagas style was themed to their coming honeymoon.  Everyone enjoyed the entertainment that they provided for the night, a cabaret singer, casino and even computer games.  Congratulations to you both.

Rachel and Kav – Longhirst Hall

Our congratulations go to Rachel and Kav who were married at the fabulous Longhirst Hall in Northumberland.  This lovely couple were lucky enough to have some of the best weather this summer has seen on their wedding day, giving them and their guests lots of opportunities to enjoy the grounds and explore the surroundings.  Thank you to you both for a thoroughly enjoyable day.  Here is a glance at a few of the photographs from their day.

Debbie and Gary – Beamish Hall Hotel

We were privileged to spend the day with Debbie and Gary photographing their big day.  They were married in St Joseph’s church in Millfield moving on the celebrate their day in the gorgeous Beamish Hall, in County Durham.  Here are a few of our favorites from the day.

Kelly and Gavin chose to marry at Whitburn Methodist Church, continuing their celebrations at the National Glass center in Sunderland.  Here are a few of our favorite from the day.

Carol and Mark – Horton Grange

Carol and Mark chose the lovely Horton Grange Country House Hotel for their intimate wedding ceremony and celebrations.  For their April wedding they chose a fresh spring theme with white roses and pretty yellow bridesmaids dresses which coordinated wonderfully with the décor of the House.  Here are a few of our personal favorites.

Jen and Simon – Langley Castle

Jen and Simon chose a fresh April day for their wedding in Langley Castle, Northumberland.  Jen opted for soft shades of pink and ivory for the general colour theme of the wedding, where Simon chose to add a splash of colour by arriving in style in a fabulous bright red ferrari.  Jen added a personal touch by making the beautiful favours herself, and it was good to see Paul Lytton once again, our local one to one magician.  Everyone had a fantastic time sharing Jen and Simon’s big day in the historic Langley Castle.  Congratulations to you both.

Master Photographers Association Awards

With only 3 days left before the deadline, I decided to enter some wedding images for the first time into the annual Master Photographers Association Regional Awards.  The awards is always a date for the diary, where photographers from all across the region submit their work for consideration.  The awards evening held on the 25th April was a really enjoyable evening and a great excuse to get all dressed up.  I was thrilled when I was given the Award of Merit for the contemporary wedding category and the Award of Merit for the Fuji Best Album Award.  Here are the images:
