Bridal Gathering – 1st November 2009

We are thrilled to announce that we shall be exhibiting at the fantastic wedding show – ‘Bridal Gathering’ organized by Belle Bridal Magazine at the Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton Le Spring this Sunday.  It is a must see show for everyone planing a wedding with the show featuring 100 exhibitors for everything you could possible need for your big day including many of the top north east names in the wedding industry.  Whats more, you shall each receive a complimentary goody bag filled with hair and beauty products, have the opportunity to receive a free manicure, there will be a free champagne lounge area, a fantastic fashion show shall be put on to inspire, entertainment from Britains got talent finalists – the “Irresistible 3″, and the chance to win over £5000 worth of raffle prizes with proceeds from the show going to the Brothers in Arms Charity.  Entry is only £2, and parking is free.  The show will begin at 12 noon and shall continue through to 5pm.

On line contact form out of order

Master Photographers Association Awards

With only 3 days left before the deadline, I decided to enter some wedding images for the first time into the annual Master Photographers Association Regional Awards.  The awards is always a date for the diary, where photographers from all across the region submit their work for consideration.  The awards evening held on the 25th April was a really enjoyable evening and a great excuse to get all dressed up.  I was thrilled when I was given the Award of Merit for the contemporary wedding category and the Award of Merit for the Fuji Best Album Award.  Here are the images:

Wedding Fair – The Caledonian Hotel

If you would like to meet us both to discuss your photography for your big day you will be able to come and see us tomorrow between 11am and 4pm at the Caledonian Hotel in Jesmond.  For directions you can call the hotel on 0191 2817881.

We shall very soon be added our wedding fairs for this autumn to our wedding fairs page.  You will be able to come and meet us at some great venues including Seaham Hall, Lumley Castle, the Hilton Hotel plus other great venues.

Only one day left for 2009!

Nigel and I have had a great last 12 months with our services becoming increasingly sought after, so much so that we have filled our diaries for 2009 with dates for 2010 filling very fast.

Nigel and I choose to work together at every wedding, we choose to do all of our own post production, album designs and of course you will always deal with us directly.  We choose to operate exclusively as a husband and wife team, and so we have to limit how many wedding commissions we take each year.  2009 has filled very fast and so as a result we can no longer take bookings for this year, with one exception.  The 26th September is available in our diaries for a wedding commission due to one of our couples having to change their wedding date, so get in touch if your wedding happens to be on the 26th September and you would like us to cover your big day.

Thank you cards

We can now offer you high quality Thank you cards to send out to your guests after your wedding.  The cards feature an image of your choice on the front of the card, text if you wish, and a personal message inside in words that you have chosen, alternatively leave them blank inside so you can hand wright each message, they even come with a choice of paper texture and have a fast 5 day turn around time.  The printed cards also come with high quality envelopes and with a minimum order of 50 cards each card only cost £1.50 per card, which I am pretty sure is better value than those you can buy in high street card shops.  Below is a couple of designs for cards that I have put together to help inspire you.

The Radisson Hotel wedding fair

Again, another to add to the list.  The newly built 4* hotel is sited on the banks of the river wear in Durham with great views of the cathedral.  The fair is on the 9th November and is open from 11am to 4.30 pm.  See you there.

Lumley Castle wedding fair

Booked up last minute, we have one more wedding fair to add to the list.  Lumley  Castle, in Chester le Street are holding the fair this coming Sunday, the 19th October.  It will be open 1pm-4pm if you feel like coming along.  It will be a great event will lots of exhibitors offering different services for your wedding.  Follow the link for more details.  We’ll look forward to seeing you there.
